Federal Drug Investigation Targets Chris Brown and Lil Wayne
Chris Brown and Lil Wayne are now reportedly key targets of a federal drug investigation which involves thousands of dollars of narcotics.
According to the celebrity gossip news website TMZ.com, the probe was triggered by a criminal drug trial involving Miami music producer Harrison Garcia who allegedly sent texts to people acknowledging and even bragging he sold drugs to the 2 rappers.
Lil Wayne Tour Bus Shooter Surrenders in Cobb County, Georgia
The guy who is believed to be the person who shot up Lil Wayne’s tour bus in April has surrender to authorities.
Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, 25, turned himself in early Tuesday morning in Cobb County, Georgia. He is being held without bail.
Lil Wayne’s Buses Shot Up in Atlanta
He faces charges of aggravated assault, threats, possession of a firearm by a felon, and criminal gang activity.
The shooting occurred as the rapper and crew were leaving after a performance at the Compound nightclub located on Brady Ave NW, Atlanta, GA. The shooting occurred as the two buses traveling along on I-285 near I-75.
According to sources…Winfrey has ties to one of Lil Wayne’s rivals…Atlanta rapper “Young Thug” aka Jeffery Williams.
Winfrey, was convicted of drug possession in Florida in October and sentenced to two years probation, He was also charged by Cobb police with two misdemeanors, reckless conduct and discharging a firearm on or near a public highway.

Rapper Lil Wayne’s Tour Buses Shot Up in Atlanta
Lil Wayne’s tour buses were shot at multiple times Sunday morning following his performance at Compound nightclub located on Brady Ave NW, Atlanta, GA.
According to sources…the buses were leaving the location at around 3:30 AM when someone took aim and open fired.

The rapper was aboard one of the buses along with artist Lil Twist and Hood and a few others who are said to be associates of his record label “Young Money.”
There were no injuries and it remains unclear whether or not there was damaged to the buses.

Witnesses aboard the buses were unable to provide authorities with detailed information however, they did say that the suspects is that they were in 2 white vehicles a sports car and an SUV.

It’s unclear whether the Rapper Lil Wayne wants to, or maybe just needs to, unload his Miami mansion on La Gorce Island, Fla., that he purchased early last year for $14 million.
His decision to list his nine bedrooms, nine full bathrooms comes after the rapper was a victim of swatting, a random prostitute who showed up uninvited and the crazy guy who hangs around ominously outside that won’t go away. That’s just this month.

The prostitute turned up at Lil Wayne’s Miami Beach house claiming she had been personally requested by the hip-hop heavyweight, while he says she was definitely not invited to the party.

Authorities in Miami were called to the scene by someone claiming that four people had been shot inside a residence located at 94 La Gorce Circle, on an island off Miami Beach which belonged to Lil Wayne. The call was received at 12.45 pm. The caller reported that there were gun shots being fired with multiple victims, adding that they intended to start a firefight with officers at the star’s palace.

All is reportedly well at the Miami Beach home of Lil Wayne after authorities were called to the scene by someone claiming that four people had been shot inside the 32-year-old rappers residence.
Police responded Wednesday afternoon only to find that it was a case of “Swatting,” Swatting refers to a prank in which someone convinces authorities to dispatch an emergency response for a fake incident. The hoax was taken seriously and police followed all general protocol to ensure that everyone’s safety was a priority.

Before it was clear that the shooting was a hoax, Wayne’s label, Young Money, tweeted that Wayne was not home at the time.
“Wayne is okay. Wasn’t home during alleged events,” the tweet read.
According to sources there was added concern when the emergency call came in since there had been a report made recently about a suspicious man lurking outside the rappers home.
