The 13,511 square foot modern architectural splendor was built in 1951 for a Los Angeles real estate investor and civic leader Sidney Brody and his wife Frances. The residence sits on 2.3 acres and is located on 360 South Mapleton Drive in L.A.’s Hombly Hills. This particular area along with Bel-Air, and Beverly Hills form the “Platinum Triangle” of Los Angeles’ priciest and most exclusive neighborhoods.
As we all know, the 55-year-old talk show host has an appreciate for beauty, design, details, great architecture and amenities. One “amenity” worth noting is that the 6 bedroom mansion is located beside Hugh Hefner’s infamous “Playboy” mansion. It has 9 1/2 bathrooms all of which are accented with exquisite black tile and granite countertops.
