Tiger Woods Involved a Single Car Crash News and Updates


Golf legend Tiger Woods was involved in a one-car-crash earlier today which left him with serious leg injuries.

The accident occurred in Southern California, authorities said. Tiger Woods’ Genesis GV80 was going north on Hawthorne Boulevard at Blackhorse road, on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes.

According to the deputy who arrived first at the scene, Woods was conscious. He was removed from and transported to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.

His agent Mark Steinberg issuing a statement saying that Woods had serious injuries to both legs. He was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. His agent, Mark Steinberg, told NBC News on Tuesday afternoon that Woods required surgery for multiple leg injuries.

Investigators could take days or weeks to determine the cause of the crash, a sheriff’s lieutenant said.

The 45-year-old golfer, who resides in Jupiter, Florida, was in Southern California this weekend for the Genesis Invitational, which benefits his foundation.
