Anna Wintour, the longtime Vogue editor, 70, was spotted clutching a stack of papers walking through New York City Thursday.

The sighting comes just one day after it was reported that she and her husband and longtime partner Shelby Bryan had split after a 16-year relationship.

The split comes amid a difficult year for Wintour; her former friend has released a scathing memoir and she has conceded to race related ‘mistakes’ at Vogue.

Bryan, 74 is a telecommunications pioneer, futurist, international business executive, entrepreneur, and venture capitalist.
