Raging Woosley fire in California Spares the “Bachelor Mansion”

The Bachelor mansion that serves as the setting for the ABC Reality Show, “The Bachelor” has been spared by the raging Woosley fire in Southern California.

Despite previous reports, photographs of the property reveal that the most significant damage was to an area 100 feet from the main living quarters.

The Agoura Hills mansion was in the path of the fire which spread through the area and Malibu Friday.

The Woosley fire, which started in the started Thursday afternoon near Simi Valley in a hillside area next to the old Santa Susanna Field Lab has destroyed more that 70,000 acres of land. It continues to burn as firefighter’s and first responders from all over the country continue to work 24-7 to try and get control of flaming wrath of destruction with no end in sight.

Twice a year, the Haraden family moves out of their Agoura Hills, California mansion and stays in a hotel for six weeks while the show is filmed. During that time, their home is transformed into the “Bachelor” mansion that millions of people see on TV.

The Bachelor Mansion is currently off the market, but Trulia estimates it would cost some serious dough—$7.4 million to be exact!

The Bachelor Mansion has 6 Bedrooms and 9 Bathrooms.
