The apology comes just one day after one of  their  incompetent United Airlines flight attendant who fatally placed a dog in an overhead luggage bin is claiming she didn’t hear a passenger’s warning that there was an animal in the container.

In a statement issued by the airlines they said “We have learned that the customer did tell the flight attendant that there was a dog in the carrier. However, our flight attendant did not hear or understand her, and did not knowingly place the dog in the overhead bin.” They also said in their second attempt to do damage control for their employees incompetence they reiterated that they assumed responsibility.”

These latest claims come after passengers reported hearing the 10-month-old pug bark for at least two hour prior to it’s ill fated death at the flight of this unidentified United employee.

The tragedy has caused a social media outrage and many are demanding action against United. The airline, which is now being called the worst ever.

On March 12th, on a flight from Houston to New York, a United Airlines flight attendant knowingly stowed a French bulldog in the overhead compartment, where it died, the family that owned the dog alleges. United quickly apologized to the family for what it called “a tragic accident that should never have occurred, as pets should never be placed in the overhead bin.” The airline promised an investigation “to prevent this from ever happening again.”
